Fellow Narnians, Emily, William Moseley, Regan, Samantha Brown and I, decided to head to the ruins of Cair Paravel and spend a night on finding any paranormal activity that lurks the place that some people have talked about. The four people, including me, will be divided into two groups leaving one group as only one person. Emily and William Moseley will team up to be the first group. For the second group, Samantha Brown and I are going to join while Regan will be by herself doing her own investigation. The sun has gone and the evening is about to arrive for the investigation to take place. Everything seems alright at first since nothing happens when the crew arrives, but that all changes when the paranormal world makes its appearance to the real world.
Time: 9:00 p.m.
Place: Peter Pevensie's Lodge (Hotel)
We are about two hours away from the event and we're packing up our equipment that we will be using. So far, we're keeping things simple by not taking too much equipment. The only things that every group are going to have inside their bags are: a digital camera, EVP (electronic voice phenomenon), temperature detectors, Holy Cross, video camera, and a flashlight for each member in the group. In addition, water and a few snacks are also going to be in each bag. None of us don't know why we taught ourselves into this, but I guess we did it. We enjoy taking our trips to Narnia during the summer time. Especially, here at this beautiful lodge. My crew and I chose to stay here for a few days since it was close to the ruins of Cair Paravel. It's only about two hours away which is not too bad. To get used to the whole "darkness" thing, I told the crew that we should take a small stroll down the forest that was here at the lodge and see some creepy crawlies walk in the night.
"Yeah! Good idea! We should all take a small, peaceful walk through the forest before we head out to the ruins," said Regan. "Oh yeah! Peaceful, huh? Just take a small walk there and the next second, you see a huge trantula on your head!" Samantha said to Regan. Samantha Brown has been traveling for almost her entire life and I was glad when I met her for the first time! I'm glad she's joining us on this spooky trip. I also love my other crew friends, William Moseley, Emily, and Regan! They're just such great people with me! I love having them by my side. "AAAHHHH!!!!!!!" "What just happened?!!" "Oh my God!" "Eeek!!!!" "AAAHHH!!!" In a total panic, these were some of the screaming lines that I heard from the guests as all the lights in the lodge mysteriously went off. I yelled out, "Calm down you guys!!!! It must have been a power surge due to the heat out there!" Emily turned to me, "What do you mean due to the heat out there?!! It's not even that hot! It's cool out there, not burning hot! There's no way that the lights could have gone off because of that Narnia Fan." Yes, Emily was right. It wasn't burning 100 degrees out there. "Maybe a power connection got cut off or something. Let's just go out to the forest and chill out you guys! Come on! Take your flashlights with you!"
We all headed outside to the forest for a friends' night out. My friends and I took out our flashlights and began to luminate them towards the trees that were there. To have some fun around, I decided to play a funny prank on Sam! Ha! Let's see if I could make it work! It should since it's very easy! I quickly went up to Sam, and screamed out, "OMG!!!!!! Sam!!!! Spider right there!!! Right there!!!" I was pointing at her shoes while she was screaming and jumping around!!!! "AAAHHH!!!! Get it off me!! Get it off me!" The crew and I all laughed at the prank I just played on Sam. "You are so mean Narnia Fan! Watch! Next time, a real one is going to land on your head and guess who's gonna be laughing? Ha!" Sam also laughed since she just got punk'd! Haha! We kept on walking and bump into a few other creepy crawlies. Thank God they were all harmless ones. I pointed my flashlight on my watch to reveal the time and it clearly said 9:32 p.m.
"Okay! That wraps it up! You guys, the time has arrived for us to do the investigation. So, let's go!" I told the crew. When we got back to the hotel, all the lights were still off. Still? Are you kidding me?!! Oh well. At least we're going to do some exploring. As we were heading back, William told us, "Since it's pitch black in our rooms, we're gonna have to use our flashlights to get around so we could get our bags and head out to the ruins." William went to open our suite room and we began to pick up our bags to make sure everything was inside. I was going to get something, when all of a sudden I accidentally fell right infront of William! Luckily he caught me with his arms. "Hey, are you okay kiddo?" he asked giggling. "Yeah, I'm pretty much okay. No major bruises or anything. Hehe."
Sam, Regan, and Emily all turned and gave me the "uh-oh, this girl is getting a crush on somebody" look. I gave the girls the "knock it off" stare to make them stop fooling around. "Perfect!" Everything was inside my bag and I was ready for the trip! William asked, "Is everybody ready?" "Yep! I'm ready." "Me too!" "Me three!" "Me four!" I said out loud. The crew and I got out of the room and we saw a lot of people using flashlights and candles as resources to get around since the lights were still out. A group of teenagers were listening to their Mp3's while others listened to their ipods. We all left the lodge leaving the tourists behind. Our driver Katherine will be driving us to the ruins of Cair Paravel for the night that awaits us.
